“You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you.”

Job 22:28 (NLT)

To succeed means to achieve the desired aim or result; and since we’re all different people with different desires, success will look different for all of us. For me, success means accomplishing the things I set out to do, regardless of how long it takes to achieve them. On April 23rd 2019 I published my 1st book, “Love. Faith. Endurance. Messages to Jesus,” a 40-day devotional designed to help people see God as a friend. It’s comprised of letters that I wrote to Jesus as I went through various trials in my life. The book is only 85 pages, but it took almost 3 years for those 85 pages to come together as a published work.

During those 3 years I learned a few things: I learned how to persevere. There were times when I felt as though I might be in over my head, but I continued to press forward because I believed in what I was doing. I also learned the importance of planning. In December 2018 I devised a plan to get the book published, which included creating an LLC, getting the book edited and finding someone to design the cover.

I say all of that to say, God has given us all different desires. Make the choice to go after the desires He’s placed in your heart, believe in what you’re doing and His light will shine on the path that will lead to your success. It might not be easy, but following the path that God has laid out for you will always be worth it.

I also want to thank everyone who had a hand in helping create this project. I couldn’t have done this without you. If anyone is interested in picking up a copy of the book, the link is below. It’s also available under the books tab on this site. I thank you in advance and your support is greatly appreciated.
