Love. Faith. Endurance.

Christ, Devotional, God, Jesus

“We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy.”

Colossians 1:11 (NLT)

When my professional basketball career ended in the latter part of 2016 I had no idea what was next; then God gave me one of the simplest messages I’ve ever received, which had a tremendous impact on my life. Three words, “Love. Faith. Endurance.” would change my perspective of everything moving forward.

Love: On our journey, we’re going to encounter some people that we don’t necessarily like, but it’s in our best interest to Love them; because the only Love they might ever experience could be the Love that dwells in us. Love is a powerful force that can change things drastically.

Faith: The belief that what’s in God’s word will come to pass. No need to stress, just rest in his promises, and let your actions correspond with what you believe.

Endurance: Not quitting when it gets tough. Often times we quit right before we achieve our goal because we can’t see anything happening. We’ve got to remember that there’s a reward for those that don’t give up.

My prayer is that you find the strength to keep moving forward. God’s purpose is in you, don’t quit now, people need the gifts that you possess.

  1. Humility is something that cannot be faked. It’s the best way to connect with others. Many Communicate but few connect.

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage-Phil 2:6

Continue to be friendly and approachable like Jesus.

    Thanks for letting me share
    Love you Brother and GATA
