Day 2

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

Philippians 1:6 ESV

As I began fixing the Camaro, doubt attempted to creep into my mind. I started to think, “What if I’m in over my head?” “Maybe I should have bought a newer car.” “Is this going to be one of those projects that’s sitting in my driveway five years from now in the same condition I bought it in?”

If there is one thing that we know about God, is that he will always finish what he starts. The bible tells us to be followers/imitators of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1). Have you ever noticed how children always imitate what they see and hear? Well, its the same with us. No matter how old we get, we’re still God’s children and he expects us to do what he does. He wants us to complete those things that he has called us to, leaving no work half-finished. Lots of times we let things like fear and doubt keep us from the great things that God has planned for us. Many of us have even stopped doing what God has called us to do because of what others may think or because it’s “too hard.” If we want to see ourselves the way God sees us, there’s no time for quitting. We’ve got to finish our assignment, by all means.

  1. Good read my son. I see you have grown and I’m proud of you. Stay focus on the word and keep working on that car so you can get it out of my driveway 🙏🏾🙏🏾😂😂
